Notes So, I've been in a writing slump and was on the bus going to work (...which incidentally is route 116 -gasp-). Then I was thinking about routine and how it sucks and stuff, and how bus drivers must have stressful jobs. And then this happened. O-o... yeah. All lowercase because that's ~*~creative*~* and stuff. Um, -cough-, this is actually loosely based off of my best friend and I (we work together at the college, where 116 leads to), although we are certainly not in love with each other like Ohmiya are, haha. Also (do I ever shut up?), there are no names in this drabble, so please feel free to interpret whatever pairing you like. I did write it thinking of Ohmiya, though, and do make a vague mention to Nino's fingers and Ohno's goofy smile (just for Ohmiya lovers).

Notes I really want to note that these drabbles are really random. It's basically up to you to decide which ones are connected and which are not. Some are crack, some are angst, some are smut, humour, general, etc. There should be something for everybody. I also want to note that I was entirely stupid and forgot to mark down where all of these images came from. Mostly I found them through google and various stock image sites. Each relates to the drabble it sits on top of.

Okay so, here's the deal. My implied hiatus still exists, but some of you may remember that November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo -- quite possibly one of the most annoying things to have to keep typing out) and I've participated in it every year since 2006. This year I'm doing a sort-of-fanfic-but-not-really story using the two members of JE group KinKi Kids. I'm just stealing their names and appearances, really. Everything else is different. So whether or not you consider it fanfic or orig!fic, or a mix of both, I will occasionally be posting bits and pieces of my novel, entitled Snow Express (yes, NEWS reference), throughout the month of November. Hopefully after this is all done and finished (and past 50000 words), I will start editing. Then I can post the real thing.

But anyway, here's my unedited prologue to keep you interested and (hopefully) wanting more:

No one could have predicted that this would happen.

From a young age Tsuyoshi had always had trouble befriending others. For him to form a bond with Koichi that, through all of the dirty shit each had to live through day after day, would last them the rest of their lives was simply unimaginable. For him to finally admit to himself that another person meant something to him was a huge leap, and Tsuyoshi would often wonder if Koichi knew what importance he held. The only sane conclusion Tsuyoshi could come to was no, Koichi didn't know—couldn't possibly know—because if he did then he would be here, right now, in this place on 28-year-old Tsuyoshi's last day on earth.

Tsuyoshi smiled. No, he was always there, and as he closed his eyes and sucked in his last breath he pictured the short, black-haired youth from his childhood. This was the Koichi he knew best. The Koichi who, if he never aged, would be here holding his hand.

He'd see him some other day.

A train whistled in the back of his mind.

i don't know i don't know i don't know. i swear. i'm so sorry, guys. i really, really want to finish "Wasteland", but i've had absolutely zero inspiration. i've completely separated myself from the jrock fandom. i won't say i've left it all together, because i'm sure my love will come back. i'm seeing Dir en grey live for the third time next month, so here's hoping that sparks something in me.

i have, actually, completely submersed myself in jpop. xD mainly johnny's entertainment. groups like NEWS, KAT-TUN, T&T, KinKi Kids, SMAP, Ya-ya-yah, Kanjani8, etc.etc. so expect some more jpop fanfic coming soon. i've only written one so far, but once i get the hang of them and developed their characters, i'll post more.

november is nanowrimo time again! if you didn't know, miyatree was actually started with the sole purpose of being a journal just for my 2006 nanowrimo novel. if you go to my profile you'll see it was created on october 30, 2006. lol. i didn't really use it all that much, so it became a basic writing journal for me. i'll definitely be using it for my nanowrimo novel this year, so expect a lot of updates then. i'm still not sure what i'm writing. i did orig!fic for the past two years, so this year i might try my hand at a fanfic novel. i've got a lot of angsty akame fic ideas running around my head lately.

anyway, this is just an update to let you know on my status. i'm sorry for the lack of capitals, etc. i'm feeling lazy at the moment.

i'll update again in one moment with my first jpop drabble. it was actually written for an anonymeme, so several people have seen it but nobody knows it was me who wrote it. the pairing is kame/shige (KAT-TUN/NEWS) and it's geeky. :3

Wow. It's been a while.

First off, I want to address my absense. A while ago I hit a large writer's block, lost complete interest in jrock fanfiction in favour of anime/manga fanfiction, and just generally avoided this journal at all costs. It has been nagging at me, though.

Recently I lost someone very close to me to Parkinson's disease, and I've been unable to even think about writing. Plus, I'm graduating very soon and starting college in September, so it's been stressful.

I have one story on fanfiction.net I want to finish before I even look at jrock again, but once that is finished I swear I'll come back and work on Wasteland. That probably won't be for a while, and you'll all have to reread chapters to remember what the hell is going on (hey, I even had to reread it), but it will happen. By the end of 2008. That's my goal. Haha.

Again, sorry about ignoring this. I should have made this post back when I had my writer's block. Sorry!

Hey guys! I know, I know--long time no update, eh? Um, I promise I'll have more updates in a week or two, once my exams finish up. Right now I'm kind of stressed and am slowly pulling myself around all my final projects, etc. So those requests (there's more spaces left, so go check em' out!) will be completed--every single one of them--but not for 1-2 weeks. Really sorry, but real life is destroying my brain at the moment, haha. ^^;;

Um, on another topic, though, I just wanted to restate the fact that eatingsoup101 is my personal journal only. I've had several people add me randomly, and I'm pretty sure they mean to friend this journal, my writing journal, miyatree. So, while I'm all for making new friends, if you're really meaning to add eatingsoup101 then please comment on my friends only post or else I won't add you! I like to know exactly who I'm adding. :)

Alright, well, after that LJ drama, I've decided I'm going to be friend's locking everything I post two weeks after it's originally posted. This gives enough time for those to read who don't want to friend this journal, but also still gives a chance to read other things I've posted should you have it friended. I will be updating the archive with their locked/unlocked statuses so there's no confusion.

I'm really sorry I have to do this, but it's better safe than sorry, right? I don't want anybody ratting on me because I posted NC-17 material, even IF I provided warnings. Writing is my passion, guys, and I can't even imagine not having this journal.

While the drama certainly helped me make up my mind on this decision, rest assured it's been brewing for a while.

There are some fics I'll be leaving unlocked simply because they're posted on OTHER communities, and simply linked to on here. So I figure those ones are okay to keep unlocked since you could find them elsewhere anyway. It's just the ones that I've written and specifically posted HERE that are being locked.
